| Sanyu Signs Agreement to Represent Moriyama in North America. |

Maumee, OH., - Sanyu USA, Inc., the sales and service subsidiary of the Japanese rubber injection press manufacturer Sanyu Industries, has entered into an agreement to represent rubber processing machinery maker Moriyama in North America. Moriyama is also based in Japan. The agreement follows Moriyama’s decision to close its US office in Canton, Ohio in October of 2009. Sanyu USA, Inc. will provide sales and service support for Moriyama’s full product line, which includes tilt-body type dispersion mixers, extruders and related equipment. “We are very excited by this opportunity” said Tsuyoshi Takahashi, President of Sanyu USA. “Sanyu USA already has an established support system for our injection presses in North America and we are looking forward to providing quality service to Moriyama’s customers.” The two companies have had regular contact over the years, but formal discussions over the agreement began in August 2009. The initial contract duration is just for one year but both companies intend this to be for the long-term. Sanyu technicians have already been to Moriyama’s head-office to receive service training. “Moriyama’s product line is an excellent fit for us,” said Takahashi. “Like Sanyu, Moriyama is focused on high-quality, innovative rubber machinery but there is no conflict between the two lines because Moriyama is concentrated on mixing and we on molding. From a service point of view, there are many similarities in our mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems so our technicians will be up to speed very quickly.” Sanyu will have a booth at the upcoming Medical Design & Manufacturing West show in Anaheim, California in February where literature on both Sanyu and Moriyama products will be on display.
